Lot's Rescue

In Genesis 14: 13-17 we can read the thrilling account of Lot's rescue! V. 16 reads, "So he(Abram) brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people." Abram took immediate action to go and help Lot: verse 14-15 "and went in pursuit as far as Dan" and "and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus." The reading of this account highlights how strong family ties can be, as they were in the Bible! Abram not only helped and rescued Lot, but quickly went to help him!
How many times do we need help in our lives? This writer has received help in his life many times from other family members! Abram truly cared about Lot, one of his family members, and went quickly to help him! Today's families have taken a hard hit from the devil! We need to love our moms and dads and other relatives, in addition to helping them !
